Supporting the
front lines of anime subculture
RCJCL Ventures provides funding and resources to creators who work with visual novels, VTubers, webtoons, illustrations, and the like.
We bring a unique perspective: We don’t want to make money, and we want every cent that comes back to get reinvested to help others in the future. (We’re a 501(c)(3) registered non-profit!)
How We Work
Pitch us!
Our goal is to fund commercially-viable creators/companies who lack resources or money to get to the next step.
We’re always scrolling through our timeline for interesting projects, but if you’re working on something that might interest us, please reach out!
Intro & Discussions
If we take interest, we’ll reach out to schedule some time to introduce ourselves and see if there’s a fit. We want to find out what your plan is, and how we can best support your needs.
We usually provide support via investment or project management consultation. We also offer other production services on a limited basis.
Work Begins!
After we’ve agreed on a plan and a set of terms, we’ll start our collaboration. It’s time to celebrate!
The work doesn’t end there — we’re here to make sure that the project and the plan succeeds. We’ll always be available as a contact, whether to work through problems or to cheer on well-earned success.
About Us
We’re a couple of engineers who have fallen deep into the otaku rabbit hole.
Raymond Jimenez
Co-founder, President
Raymond’s main interests are visual novels and indie games. He grew up on a steady diet of magical girl anime (Nanoha, Uta∽Kata, and others) and by day is an engineer at a medtech company.
Jomya Lei
Co-founder, Secretary/Treasurer
As a systems engineer, Jomya is always trying to make time for reading webtoons, watching anime, and solving puzzle / escape games.
